My Brompton always gets genuinely nice compliments whenever I’m folding it or when it’s folded.

“Wow, is that a folding bike? That’s awesome.”
“How does that even work? Cool bike.”
“That’s a bike? Do they let you in with it?”
“Wow, using it as a shopping cart, I see.”

Just a few out of the dozen comments I get in one week.

I think that most people don’t know that foldable bikes even exist.

Do you get any compliments/reactions from people on your Brompton?

Note: I ride my bike mainly in safe neighborhoods during the day for exercise and shopping. I don’t park/lock my bike outside.

Yes I’m thinking of sticking with my C-Line instead of getting a P-Line partly for this reason!

The discontinued Cloud Blue colour gets so many compliments and I love how it makes the bike much less serious and suits the Brommies more playful image more than the grey/black options on the P-Line (don’t want to pay for all the colour options on the newer P-Lines, which aren’t on sale)

Yep. Definitely the kind of bike which helps one sharpen their impromptu response skills. Had a neat exchange today in fact. That folks are intrigued is a spark of wonderful. When it happens in wet and multimodal moments like today for me, feels a tick extra special.

    3. I get, I want one where did you buy it; and they didn’t even know it folded until I showed them. Mine is a H6R yr 2021
