Any advice? It’s 58cm and I am 5’11”…. So maybe it’s too large?

This bike is not worth $500 is we’re talking USD. It only sold for $1500 11 years ago. I wouldn’t pay over $250. This bike came stock with Tiagra groupset so it has several updated components. Despite these “upgrades” they don’t add any real value. $300 is the ceiling imo but sellers can be very delusional.
Otherwise, it would fit you. 58cm by most manufacturers fits 5’11 pretty well. The Allez series is well loved so it would make a good road bike, just overpriced.
