Don't mind the mess my ADHD was kicking in at the end of the day, anyway!

I'm trying to make a RV camper that's actually towable via bicycle! It's gonna be folded down to lower the air resistance and lower the point of gravity so it doesn't tip over wile I'm driving it !

It's gonna have everything inside for what I gonna need to be comfortable off-grid, heating cooking air vents windows storage and lots more!

I gonna use wooden boards for the lower parts because this is the place that takes all the forces wile driving / towing it and just moving inside of it the top part is gonna get a framework of smaller wooden strips to lower the Weight of the entire structure

I wanted to use 3 mm thick PVC panels but sadly they are now triple the price for a smaller sheet so I now wanna use poplar plywood also which are also In 3mm thickness and strengthen the corners which strips of small wood and fiberglass and epoxy

The windows are gonna be made out of acrylic glass and can be opened if I want

A little rainwater collection system is also in planning
For like washing dishes and stuff

It's gonna be insolated via Cork or the hard version of Styrofoam I forgot the name of it at the moment

I gonna have a solar panel on the roof to charge my e- bike batterys my phone and lights and other things

Maybe if my calculation are right I can also use the camper as a small boat for lakes and slow rivers

My end goal that the entire construct ways less than 80 kg and costs me less than 1000€

If you have any questions or concerns please ask me I'm going answer them to the best of my knowledge!

    1. Very cool. If you can keep the weight to 80kg that would be great but don’t sweat going over some. On our old steel frame tandem the wife and I plus bike with accessories clocked in at about 575 lbs. We are tall and big boned🤣.

On long flat rides my stoker would sometimes put her feet up for a rest on the lower frame bar and let the captain pull the train. So many people would yell out when we passed by “Hey, she’s not pedaling!” It was great fun and a great workout.
