Until 1995 the X2000 was a steel bike with 700c wheels marketed as “hybrid bicycle” by Giant. Later on the X2000 became a aluminium bike. This steel bike is so versatile: over the last 15 years I have used it for touring with panniers, and also had it setup with drop-handlebar with a short stem. Current setup is my daily ride and use to join my kids on school ride and use it for groceries, etc. The front rack is a Specialized Pizza rack, and currently has a Basil plastic crate mounted on it.
