Yes, they work as advertised and are pretty good value for money.

You rarely see anything else than Thule in the whole Scandinavia.

I have the 2” hitch mount. It works great. The only drawback is the weight. It is quite heavy. That is good for 1000 mile trips with multiple bikes. However, one needs to be mindful when putting it on and taking it off.

Rarely do I see someone with something that is not a thule. So yeah, pretty much a go-to brand for any kind of carying device.

I have 2 bike, semi-folder one (the lights and bike supports telescope inwards) and it fits nicely into the boot/trunk of my car. Nicely designed. I broke some bits reversing (rear sensors switch off, of course) and hit a tree. Got replacement parts easily off eBay, which were easy to fit.

It’s THE bike rack in Scandinavia/Northern Europe, an area with a LOT of bikes and a lot of people transporting them on rack (few pick-up trucks unless you are a farmer).
You can buy a lot of other brands, but they are almost invariably seen as lower tier alternatives.

I have this one and it’s awesome. The first time you use it, you’ll have to fiddle around a bit to work out how to load your bikes. Once you work it out, you’ll need to use the same process each time, and it becomes very fast and smooth. Importantly it’s fast to install on the car and it’s very secure.

I have 20+ year old Thule hitch mount. Never had an issue except for a time I left it on my car and someone took two restraints off it. The parts stolen were available from Thule.

seems very functional, too bad it costs a lot [https://www.maxmania.it/auto/thule-easyfold-3-portabici/](https://www.maxmania.it/auto/thule-easyfold-3-portabici/)

Is there any other brands and more affordable?
Yes, solid stuff. Worth buying.
