" ok lads now get out there and collect some revenue "
Taser
You wow you UK cops are really soft. You will make it in American LOL
Usual suspects.
Training is everything, Awareness, situational stability, with zero threat there is no reason to stop re-assessing, call medics and re-inforcement(relevant to threat), communicate with the person? at any point? Video is too short but I like what they are teaching
Humans ruin everything!!!
Run away
Depends what postcode he calls home
1st off, they don't need that many officers on 1 man if they are trained properly. U could resolve this situation without touching him until arrest
Nice to hear the police are finally being trained
. Remember to explain 'the law' as it applies to operational policing by consent.
If this was truthful UK policing there wouldn't be any coppers there…
This lefty softly softly ‘policing by consent’ approach is largely responsible for the decline of our society.
Better Explained In Classroom But It Is Different When Confronted By A Situation Whereby A Cop Do Not Have The Luxury Of A Nuanced Analysis.
If he's sitting, distressed and doing nothing, then you approach him. You talk to him. Non-threateningly. You don't want to escalate the situation.
I guarantee that 90% of the time, a distressed person passivly holding a knife either wants to hurt themselves – at which point they need to be talked down and offered help – or regrets (or is having second thoughts about) doing something – at which point a skilled mediator can get them to go quietly, without gathering more trouble for themselves.
If only they took this training onto the street.
Instead of turning into lying bullying ego driven
thugs.
Maybe they should remember their training when on the job 🤔
British police : options
American police : BANG BANG!
When did Kris Akabusi become a police trainer?
Back up means send more officers you cannot make this stuff up
quickly quit the job knowing full well what your getting into is nothing much more then corruption and social harm
If you are going to wait until an armed and threatening person starts hurting himself or others to physically intervene, then people are going to get hurt.
You are not protecting a person from violence if you wait for violence to be inflicted upon them before preventing it.
