    1. You can buy a new Fuji feather frame for around 250usd and build bike for much less than that. It’s nice having expensive njs parts, but it’s not entirely necessary imo

      Just a heads up, that top tube is not 57cm, maybe 53ish.  There’s a sticker on the lower portion of the seat tube, that probably says 57cm but the is referring to the seat tube itself.  The seat tube on a Feather extends a good portion, beyond the top tube.

    3. So many people in these threads are used to a less challenging bike market. $500 is the going cost for most moderately valuable track frames in Canadian markets. It’s hard to get good steel- so I’d say look carefully at the local market and compare there: 1. Are there often comparable bikes for sale? 2. How much do most steel track frames with low end components go for? If it’s within that range, and you like the bike, go for it.
