    1. It looks like at least one (and probably more) of the pistons isn’t working. Unless you are prepared to spend some serious time on this, I’d take it to the shop. I’m guessing they’ll have to take the brakes apart completely and rebuild them if not outright replace them.

    2. Definitely get a new rotor so you don’t need to go in twice. The old one, even if it’s still above nominal wear thickness, will never be the same after getting chewed up so thoroughly from the backing plate.

    3. Sorry should’ve put the title in quotes “my wife says the brakes are noisy” is what the client walked into the shop and said
