I changed the fork on this Scott comp racing 94 because it had a weird non working suspension fork instead of a rigid one. I measured a2c and found a fitting one for a hair price. I didn’t know it has rake (?) so now there is a quite some space between frame and the frontwheel. Did I choose the right fork or does this only look weird to me? Most bikes have way less space between frame and tyre.

Every bike fork has rake. Is the axle to crown distance similar to that of the original fork?
All forks have rake, but some do it via curved fork blades, and others offset at the crown/dropouts.
You have a weird fork there, because the crown race appears to be brazed on really high. Normally they are right at the crown.
I think it’s ugly as sin, personally.
That is an interesting fork. I wonder what it was originally meant for?
That is one seriously long stem.
Whatever is going on with ur stem is really pissing me the fuck off.
I mean, sometimes you just have to go ugly to piss people off. It feels good.
