Hi guys thanks in advance for your responses.

So I’ve been thoroughly upgrading my bike for the past week, it’s a vitus motobecane c2.

I’ve replaced the wheels with Mavic CXP 30 (shimano 600 hub)

The wheels came with 8 speed so I thought to let it that way, I bought a new 8 speed 11-36 casette. And a shimano acera (rd-m360-sgs) rear derailleur.

Micronew 8×3 brifters and xlc cross top levers.

Both deep cleaning and greasing has been a success but now that I’m finishing I’m running into problems.

So when I try to feed the new chain to the smallest cog I’m realising that the chain is touching the end of the derailleur’s screw.

Is this very bad? I did everything very carefully including the cold setting and re measure everything and seems to be okay. Should I just ad a spacer so the screw doesn’t come out that much?

    All help is appreciated!!!
