I'm looking to buy my first real MTB. The local bike shop near me unfortunately doesn't have any of the bikes in stock that I am looking to purchase (size and build) and they said they couldn't order them for me. I want to order this bike from Backcountry.com since that seems to be an authorized dealer for Santa Cruz.
I would say I'm very good mechanically. I fix a lot of things around my house, but I've never built a bike before. I was hoping to get an idea from you guys about how much work/time/difficulty this would be to build the bike shipped from Backcountry?
Additionally, I'm not sure of how many tools I need to have on hand to finish building the bike myself or if most of the tools are included (like I've seen with YT Industries bikes)
Thanks so much.
