Welcome to Liechtenstein!! Have you ever heard of it? It’s one of the smallest and most unknown countries in the world, nestled in between Switzerland and Austria – and I had the brilliant idea to WALK 33km across the entire nation with no money, no phone, and no map.

Why? Because I enjoy challenging myself and pushing my body to its limits.

Watch the intense story of struggle, perseverance, and victory – and comment below your thoughts! Do you like this kind of storytelling?

  1. When you are in Liechtenstein, don’t miss out the Tourist Passport Stamp. It is issued by an official authority so unlike other souvenir stamps, it won’t get you into trouble at borders.

  2. In Lichtenstein there is an easy way to navigate. There is the highway that goes basicly strait through the Rhine Valley, there is the river Rhine and the valley itself which extends through austria and to lake constance and the border of germany. And sidenote, this is actually the mighty Rhine river that goes to the North sea. It goes on after lake constance.

  3. I walked 40ks once from my house out to a mountain.. i live in Australia.. it was great but by the end i was just in a trance putting one foot in front of the other blocking out the pain.. i had a healing broken foot at the time😂 long distance walking is better than you'd think im keen to try again haha

  4. Loved the guy that didn’t even know what austria was 😂 austrian in german is Österreich, so yea, not even close 😝

  5. Americans aways expect that all people should speak english… Expect that they can go in every country with no problems and requirements, but if europian for example whats to even enter, US there is insane requirements etc..
Dont get me wrong, I love US but maybe isnt Putin the dictator after all….

  6. I agree with a comment below about Liechtenstein being so underrated! My husband, our daughter and I visited Liechtenstein in the summer of 2019. We did a Europe trip for our daughter's high school graduation gift. We were combining the trip with one of my husband's overseas business trips. Neither our daughter nor I had ever been out of the US (except on a cruise where we stopped in Mexico and Bahamas). Before the trip the 3 of us talked about the places where we most wanted to visit. We came up with United Kingdom, Switzerland (husband had business meeting here), Germany, Croatia, and Liechtenstein. Our daughter took German for 3 years in HS and did a report on Liechtenstein and really wanted to go there. I had never even heard of this country! We looked through her report and she did research on where to stay. Of all of the places we visited on our whirlwind Europe trip Liechtenstein was our favorite! It had the most beautiful scenery and people and was so incredibly clean! We stayed at an amazing little guest house up on a mountainside- "Berggasthaus Sücka" 💕The views here were stunning and it was cool to wake up in the morning listening to the cows roaming around with their bells on. The food was amazing, had the BEST cheese fondue here. We did some hiking around the guesthouse, visited an Alpaca farm 🦙that had a small UNATTENDED store and of course walked around Vaduz and visited Castle Liechtenstein. I hope to go back again someday! ✈🏔⛰

  7. I visited Lichtenstein in 1993, and all I remember is going to the post office in Vaduz and getting a passport stamp (they may have been the same activity)

  8. Never heard of Lichenstein. But, gosh, it's so clean, beautiful and empty! What a country…and no debt? Someone needs to give this country the nobel peace prize.

  9. The intentionally not bringing water part was the boldest part to me.

That and the shots where you must have placed the camera 50 meters ahead and then walked back so you could run past the camera…

  10. Drew, I ama fan of yours for sure. Dude spoken German is not very different from English. If both sides pace themselves when speaking it is possible to carry a conversation in both English and German. True, the written format is not close at all, I have to agree with that. I was born in Austria but have lived in Chicago since I was 4 years old. I was amazed that you met people that could not speak English in that area. In the larger cities of Germany almost every other person can speak English. In Austria not so much but in Innsbruck (my town) English is definitely a second language. For adventures like that you should have called Thom (Yes Theories) to join you. I would have joined you too, haha but you don't know me. Well, we pray to the same God.

  11. Who did the long distance shots of you running? And what did you did after arrival in Austria without money? Where your things stored there? I am Bavarian, living in Mexico😊
