Around 900000 animals are euthanized every year in the US alone, overbreeding and overcrowded animal shelters lead to this. In this talk I will further explain the current issues with both regular and non – kill shelters, and alternative solutions for animals in need of security, like for example socially conscious sheltering. Lucie has been devoted to raising awareness about the impact of euthanized animals in animal shelters. After spending much of her time volunteering, Lucie has a perspective and is dedicated to speak about the significance of this issue in the world today.
