I recently posted my Dynatech Diablo STX Duotech; however, I'm posting this Raleigh Off Road Series – Apex.
Just collected it for £50, it does require a bit of sprucing, but I think that it's a belting price!
The frame is Reynolds K2, this was produced specifically for Raleigh in the UK (I think just the UK), and it's most closely related to the 731 OS tubeset; it's seamless, oversized, and has the same butted rib design.
It's a nice ride! Even with all the old rough looking components!
The stem is cool! Very smooth.
Anyway, I've updated the saddle already with an R.S.P DNS saddle, just to make it look more aggressive 😂, but sadly, I haven't gotten an image of this yet!
Here's to planning, T-Cut'ing and eventually actuating some for of neo-retro reconstruction 👍🏻🪛🔧

Well I’ll be damned, I want one now, so bad! Can you have some tasteful modifications.
Damn that’s such a sweet find – I’m actually a big fan of those components! Of course I love some bling, especially when it comes to cranks, but I had an old hybrid turned touring bike with a similar old shimano drivetrain and it refused to quit 👍
