I interviewed Monsieur Claude Gueniffey at the 2024 Auto-Moto Epoque show in Toulouse, France who in 2004, found the original plans for Marcel Leyat’s Helica Cycle (Helicocycle), a propeller driven road car. Monsieur Gueniffey built a fully functional replica which he drives on public streets, although with spotters. He is the president of a world-wide club of enthusiasts for Leyat designs.
