Restomod of this 1973 Raleigh Competition is coming along nicely. Saving up for a set of Crust rim wheels with a dynamo. Then will put a front rack on, fenders and a nice rando bag. The color of the tires really matches the frame decal color nicely. The bike is a bit twitchy since the trail is in the 30s and with swept back bars, but man is it smooth and zippy.
I now finally understand the difference between a good steel frame and meh steel frame. This one is double butted Reynolds 531 and is just the right amount of flexy

The rear brake housing that connects to the calipers seems to me a bit short. I love this restoration, it’s very classy. Thumbs up!
This is one beautiful bicycle, I can’t wait to see the finished build.
That’s a gem, nice work. Enjoy!
Gorgeous bike! Hey, what handlebars are those?
