Picked up this 2016 Yeti SB5 Enduro for $1100. One owner, sparsely ridden a few times a year because he had several other bikes, serviced every spring and fall, super clean. I believe most everything original and it all seems to function well after a few weeks of testing it out on some open easy terrain and rail trails to some more slightly technical stuff.

This is my first mountain bike and hopefully will last me a little while as I get the hang of it as i do it all test it out type bike. Trails around me (NH) are mostly just undulating technical single track with lots of rocks and roots.

Thoughts on this as a starter bike? I know its older and a 27.5 but the geometry seems solid for starting off and i wont really know what direction I want to go next until i get some more experience.

Any advice on reasonable upgrades for it I can look to do in the next year definitely welcome. Really enjoying it so far though!
