    1. I drove to Innsbruck by bus, got the van and then headed to Italy. Currently upoloading this from a random hotel in Genoa Italy. I just walked in and asked to borrow the wifi! BOOM BABY LETS GO!!!!

    2. Too much on the surface, to my mind. Example: South Tyrol is anything but typically Italian. The population is German-speaking 65%, only a minority speaks Italian. That's why all road signs in South Tyrol are in German and Italian. Italy proper starts only south of Salurn/ Salorno, well south of Bozen/ Bolzano. All this used to belong to the Austrian Empire up to World War I, when it was given to Italy. Despite the attempts to "Italianize" South Tyrol (for instance through the settlement of Italians), it has retained its basically German heritage.
So don't please speak of "typically Italian".

    3. Be careful, if a cop sees you filming while driving, it might cost you up to 150€ and they might revoke your driving license for 1 month! In Germany. In other countries, esp. Switzerland, the punishment might be even way harder. Get a mount for the camera.☝️

    4. It is so good to see your excitement about all those new places. I had a blast watching this video.
Tirol and Südtirol truly are amazing places to visit with great and friendly people. I always love visiting.
I hope you have/will visit the Dolomites aswell on this trip. They are so close to Bolzano.

    5. By the way, Conner.

If you end up going to France at some point in the future, avoid the first 3 motorway service stations/stops after/before the border crossings.
They are known to be frequented by thieves/scammers who will mug you.
      Stay safe.

And, if you're filming with your phone while driving – the same applies. Austria and some other countries, such as Switzerland tend to have hefty fines for speeding, using your telephone, etc.

    6. The cave is the Maximilians Grotte. The young and later Emperor Maximilian I got stuck there for 3 days and 3 nights while hunting in the year 1484. The whole tragedy was witnessed by many spectators down in the valley but no one dared to help him. Not until a young farmer boy climbs up and shows him a safe way out of the wall down to safety. Shortly after it was said to have been an angel that saved him and showed him the way…

    7. South Tyrol (Alto Adige) was part of Austria until the end of WW2 and the great majority of the population is of German heritage. That's why you see signs in both languages.

    8. Nice and authentic guy,… wish you a joyful time. But there is a lot left to learn about the true history of this beautiful area, which even the inhabitants don`t know an are not supposed to know. But I guess, life is good for most of the people , and thats is something to appreciate.

    9. 26:09 It is definitely not clear whether the father and child want to cross the street. But it looks a little like it to me. So better be prepared to stop at a pedestrian crossing when people are near it. You have to yield to pedestrians!
As much as I like the views when driving. But I wonder how you take your videos without overstepping the law. You are not allowed to operate a cell phone or navigation device while driving. So please, install a holder for the camera and don't handle it while driving. This is dangerous! Very dangerous!
Sorry, but these rules make sense. Don't ask me how I know.
