    1. We know exactly what you mean regards changing as its so difficult with so many options, but ultimately its a personal choice. I know what you mean regards the mods to your own van, appreciate we didn't do too much to our CV but it was a great van as slightly sad to let go ( I nearly kept it for my solo trips 😂) but we needed something that worked better. You seem to smitten / like the Swifts 😉 – again the new 2025 Voyager models are even better with an upgraded engine, 8 speed auto and improved cab etc – think I'm biased as I do like them and as you say the layouts are really good and spacious. Guess we will have plenty to chat about soon and look forward to catching up again – guided tours available and I believe that you may have 2 models on site to view but shhh don't tell anyone 😂😂. Take care and thanks

    2. Hi David and Rachel a great video and two beautiful vans I do like the look of the swift vans and they seem to have a good quality of build and put a lot of thought into their motor home designs as well and the decor seems very modern
Have you seen the swift escape and also the auto sleepers? I also like the burstner coachbuilts and the adria
I can understand your dilemma with all of the work which you have done on yours to make it your own but as tim says it’s personal choice and look at what you will gain over yours such as storage garage space etc I look forward to seeing what you choose! All the best Daniel

    3. Hi David and Racheal If you’re looking for a compact Motorhomes why not look at a Wiensberg Cara Compact 600 Meg it’s only 6.7 meters long and 2.1 meters wide it’s a proper coach built with camper van proportions

    4. Hi David -& Racheal …did the smaller Swift have enough garage storage for your needs? – we're in similar situation in considering swapping in our CV 60 so will be watching developments with interest

    5. Hi David and Rachel another excellent video. We have just changed our panel van for another one but a different make and layout. Taking everything into account, the very reasonable cost to change, the fact that we were swopping a three and a half year old van for a brand new one with a three year warranty etc, in the end made it a relatively easy decision. I have waited in the past only to find that the gap gets bigger and bigger with your van continuing to drop in value and the new ones going the opposite way. We bought an Auto-sleeper because we liked the quality and finish but also because of all the extras including semi air suspension that came as standard. As with most decisions regarding motorhomes and camper vans there is always a compromise to be made somewhere.

    6. Great look at the vans guys, I think you should get a 510 and we can be twins 🤣 I was watching it and got all excited again haha 🤣🤣.

The kon-tiki is beautiful, but massive 😅! Xx

    7. I think you should go for a custom built van conversion – either from scratch or someone like IH Motorhomes that can bring in changes you might want. If you are thinking compact motorhomes I would suggest taking one for a test drive. The difference in driving experience I found between a motorhome and Panel van conversion was staggering. PVC far more enjoyable drive and so much quieter. I hate squeaks in a car!! All the motorhomes bang and crash over our appalling UK roads – you might be OK with that…..not for me 😊

    8. Hi guys great vlog before you buy i think you
      A. Decide on a budget/ how much you can afford.
      B. Layout decide what works and what doesn't
      C. Do you want a bed in situ or you happy to make one up each night?
Drop down beds are a bit like the french beds if one of you need to get up during the night you have to climb over the other person..
We have made wrong choices in the past and its costly.
Look forward to see what you decide on. Dont rush lol. Take care xx

    9. I liked the look of both of those but as you said the Kontiki is a bit long for our drive. The voyager 510 looks very similar in layout to the Bailey Adamo 60-4. I think that they have brought out a new 60-2 or I may have dreamt that one 🤣. Looking forward to seeing what you show us from the NEC and from your Scottish adventure. Take care Gill

    10. Great review of those two motorhome, David and Rachel. Am really impressed with the Voyager 510, and it seems you were too. May have to see if there is one on display when I go to the NEC show next month ! Cheers for now, Glenn

    11. You have a lovely van you have personalised – what are the problems with it that you wish to solve by changing your van?
I love the S&L Atlas but can't see the point of paying twice what we paid for our Swift 122 to get it – I think I'd rather tinker with ours updating and improving it bit by bit.

    12. Lovely vans, did like the Kon Tiki, just not sure about the size of it though, very nice though 🙂The Transit based vans are nice, but you do sit low in them, so really i would not have one, although nice to see other vans been used as a base vechicle. Take care and all the best Trev Debz and Tyler

    13. We’ve just gone back to a longer van, started with 7.4, dropped to 6m an now got a Swift Escape 684 @7.85m, garage and space we missed, with many of the Kon Tiki touches. First proper time away this week, re arranging where everything is stored and learning about the Alde heating which is great. Size isn’t everything but when you can hide bikes etc, it helps 😃

      Good hunting
