So decided to switch things up on my bmx. Coming from mtb and the strong desire to send this light 24lb bike down some trail finally got me pulling the trigger on a 20” suspension fork.

gained about two inches of rise in the front so getting a lower rise handlebar to regain the body geometry.

Headtube is being cut this weekend so stay tuned for progress and results.

But the MTBMX build is in progress my dudes.

    1. I mean it’s been done a few times. Worth noting the 20” manitou is technically a kids sus fork which may not hold up although the fingers crossed guys have used is on their builds.

A buddy and I did this on a 24” cruiser BMX. Was a ton of fun sending it down the MTB trails. I really like the new WTP full squish, as I also hale from the MTB world previously, suspension speaks to my old 45 yr old bones lol.

Can’t wait to see the end result and a ride report!

Looks like a fun little hard tail but id stick to MTB trails and off the dirt rhythm jumps. You want that front fork stiff for landings. Dont think it would be an effective street ride either but fuckem, do want you want and best wishes. Get it

    4. Check out WETHEPEOPLE Swampmaster! It’s expensive for an out if the box, but its a full suspension BMX. Looks awesome.
