After some fantastic riding in Italy we keep heading north into Austria and make a lucky break across the Silvretta Pass. The pass only reopened this month and they were still dynamiting a huge landslide when we rode down it. If the weather had turned wet we would have been turned around.
The weather kept shining on us as we hit the day 4 and the final 120 kilometres to Zurich. The terrain flattened out after we passed through Liechtenstein and we made good pace all the way to Zurich. We’ll be here for the rest of the week covering the road cycling world championships!
