I bought a Refurbished Canyon Lux CF 7. The notes said never ridden, with factory blemishes.
The bike arrived today and the box was pretty rough. The top was opened (not like the main photo, just it wasn’t sealed shut), there didn’t appear to be much material in the box to provide lateral stability of the box, and the rear thru axel was punched through the box and scraped up. Overall the only frame damage I see is a chip which may be the manufacturer defect that made it a refurbished bike. Just hate the idea of it bouncing around unsupported in that box going from west to east coast especially on a mountain bike.
I contacted support and submitted the photos just now. Just not sure what to expect.
