Unidentified plastic piece from RD

Guys / Gals,

Can somebody tell me please what this black plastic piece is? I suspect it fell off from the RD (Deore XT M8100) of my hardtail (Canyon – Grand Canyon 8 – MY2022). Where does it belong and how do I put it back? Included the missing link in the photo just for scale.
