Does this look still reasonable or should I try and find a smaller size? I have a very small size road bike (Giant TCR, Small) and I feel like going smaller than this will be very little space, but the one I ordered now is slightly longer than my top tube so it looks like this:

Definetly not if it sticks out like that due to rubbing when peddling. Look at some of the bigger brands as some have a bike specific compatibility check list depending on their sizing and your bike brand & sizing. Apidura has one for instance
It’s too big, once you fill it with stuff it’s going to bulge out and could rub on your legs.
As owner of a small size bike I’d not recommend this. Your bottles don’t fit anymore and based on your picture, the bag rubs against your legs.
Try to stick to toptube bags and larger saddle bags. Will save you a lot of frustration and brings you more space to fit bigger bottles in the frame.
It’s obviously too big as the front doesn’t even fit with the bag empty!
I just had my wonderful wife sew my bag smaller so my bottles fit with it. Definitely not great if you use bottles (instead of a camel back).
