St. Moritz is one of the most famous holiday resorts in the world, has hosted two Winter Olympics and is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its name is protected as a quality brand and stands for style, elegance and class worldwide.
Thanks to the Romansh language, the proximity to Italy and the predominantly German-speaking local population, three cultural areas come together in St. Moritz. The town owes its importance originally to its healing springs, which have been known for almost 3,500 years and were first mentioned in history in 1466 BC. St. Moritz was already visited by bathers during the summer in the Middle Ages. And yet: in 1830, only 200 residents lived in the town.
In addition to its beautiful location above and next to the lake, St. Moritz offers an attractive mix of nature, culture, sport, activity and peace.
