Hey guys, I have the opportunity to buy a stock Kona explosif, I was inspecting the image available and noticed that the fork looks misaligned is this an easy fix? The owner says it's still smooth and he's never noticed it. I was planing on replacing it with a rigid fork regardless just wondering if I'll also need to replace the headset?

    1. I see what could be some rust on the lower cup, so I’d replace the headset regardless. It shouldn’t be an expensive task for the LBS. Alternatively, you could do it yourself fairly easily with a couple tools. A cheap headset press is a threaded rod with a couple washers and a couple nuts

As mentioned, a new headset would probably sort that, especially if you’re using a different fork.

If the price is good and it’s the right size, an Explosif would be a delight! Legendary steel frame.

(I use a 2×4 to install my headsets! Presses are good though!)
