The bike was rocking so much, so I just put it on the floor/bottom luggage rack and was able to lock it more securely that way too. mrbenjaminryder on September 24, 2024 2:43 pm Yep, bottom on the GWR IET trains is the best place to put the bikes. Provided your saddle is all the way down they fit fine. Having said that, on times when the train is very busy I have put my bike on the top rack and it has been absolutely fine.
