  1. Let me tell you as a German living in Brandenburg who voted for the SPD, that the SPD didn't win because of Scholz and the policies of the traffic light coalition, but because Minister President Woidke deliberately avoided any appearances with Scholz and any association with his policies. The SPD would do well not to see this "strong" election result as an endorsement of their own policies, but for what it really is: a rallying of support from all sides to prevent the AfD from becoming the strongest party in Brandenburg, because right-wing extremists should not come to power. I am extremely dissatisfied with the current policies, but I cannot vote for right-wing extremists and idiots like the AfD and BSW.

In state elections, the focus should be on state policies and not on federal politics, but unfortunately, many people cannot separate the two and vote solely based on federal politics.

  2. Comeback? Which comeback??? 😂😂 Social Democrats have been rulng the Federal State of Brandenburg for 28 years. MP Woidke is rather popular, and Brandenburg is the only boom region hete.He gathered a lot of votes from other traditional parties which he cannibalized: Greens, Conservatives, Liberals. Out of 8 parties actually represented and many more competing across the whole country, only four made it into the regional Brandenburg Parliament.
Scholz' government is as weak as it was before, Woidke's SPD is in small advance over AfD. Liberals and Greens who are part of his gov will try to distinguish themselves and will start to bitch around, while sociodemodrats will start to throw money out of the windows by stupid subsidies programs, like they always do.

Just wait and see … But things have changed in this country.

  3. Jesus… What does this have to do with Scholz? He is neither responsible for the state Brandenburg, nor is he the party leader. He is merely the current Chancellor and far from being the face of the SPD.

Also the reason why SPD won is not that people like SPD, but because they hate AfD. I haven't watched your video, but the thumbnail is either clickbait or proof that you don't know what you are talking about. Not too late to change it

  4. Normie voters did everything they could to stop the AFD this is nothing to do with the federal government or the CDU suffering at the expense of the SPD.

  5. I love how it explains why people voted for SPD and then for AFD.
People voted for AFD to support their ideas, then people voted SPD to cockblock AFD.
It just looks hilarious, like did SPD had any program to begin with or you just cut it out to AFD program?

  6. Forming huge coalitions of widely different parties might work in the short term, but at some point the AfD will start getting absolute majorities by getting more votes from those governments’ incompetence

  7. This is the point in history where the center-right and the left need to shake hands and compromise with one another. We cannot allow ourselves to be ruled by the populist right. We remember what happened the last time such a rule came to be.

  8. The difficult political landscape makes easy answers very attractive. So the opposition and extreme parties are profiting strongly, which can be seen all over Europe. In the end everyone is playing the media game, the media who overly reported on migration topics rather than focusing on actual problems and politicans who have been influenced through lobbies so that people don't feel represented anymore and finally voters who believe that its worth it that history repeats itself for some weird lesson they want to teach the politicans.

  9. A system where you have to vote for one big party (e.g. SPD) just to avoid the other big party (e.g. AfD) is completely rubbish.
The 5% threshold leads to extremes instead of compromises.

  10. It's incredible how fast Germans learn to repeat the "far-right" BS speech. Don't this people know anything about the history of their own country?
Do they really call AFD nazis? Is it really the far right nazi? Do I have to remind you that nazis were actually FAR LEFT? A bloody totalitarian regime that declared racial superiority? Would any of you consider that atrocity the same as being tired of importing illegal Muslim immigrants that constantly vandalise, use violence, commit crimes, kill innocent people, rape women, and act openly against the Western culture? You all screwed up by welcoming socialist ideas again. You all know both the far left destroying entire nations and the other side (that I can't simply call far right because that does not even exist) where individual freedom is guaranteed, where people can keep their private property and life is defended and how prosperous those places are.
Do I vote or support AFD? No, I don't even care about it. I only know the situation is becoming extreme and a similar response should be expected.
I'm writing here because I think all German political parties SUCK at the moment and sucked for a long time and this nation does not have a future with the politicians that rule today.
Individual freedom (especially freedom of speech whether you like it or not), private property, peace, respect for the law with no privileges for anyone, and defense for life is the only way.

  11. 32% support for Sholtz is not that bad considering he only got 26% of the vote in the last federal election. While it would be catastrophic in a two-party system, it's not unusual in a multi-party system.
