France is a new country for me and the second on the route of my round-the-world cycling expedition. I arrive by ferry to the city of Calais and pedal through the villages and towns of the northern region of France, where nature enchants with beauty and tranquility. On the way, as usual, I spend the night in a tent. In the city of Amiens, I stay with a French woman, Coco, and her son, Luben. Then, because of the rain, I stay in a hotel. I pass through Paris in just a few hours and end up visiting Edouard and his daughters, who, like true French, like wine and barbecue in addition to bicycles.
