You don’t know the proper techniques and recommended methods for the three seashells?

By the time you’re buying a bag of Silca wax, I’d wager you’ve read at least fifteen different Reddit threads, watched seven YouTube videos, read three long-form written reviews of waxes, and asked half your riding buddies how they do it.
Nobody is learning how to wax from what’s written on a bag.

Is there any other type of chain other than ‘old’ or ‘new’? It is one or the other.

I think it’s kind of funny, because you should (must!) know how to wax your chain to buy and use the product. So, it could just say “If you don’t know how to wax your chain, don’t buy this”.
That said, it’s a link to “the application process” over.

1. Remember to always do the thing
2. Do the thing
3. Continue to do the thing until done
QR codes are so annoying, I just spent loads of cash on your product, at least give me some printed instructions on recycled paper

My mom melted several candles. I’m getting my chain ultra clean now.

none of this ever did anything more, except for very specific/unique/rare situations -there are times admittedly-, than that regular old oil/grease i started using 50years ago that was used more than 50years before being given to me. keep searching, but for me tried and true over it’s a fool’s folly, all things considered. (cost/time/results/maintenance-replacement/purpose) clean (minimally) and lube (only necessarily) on the regular … it’s the “regular” that pays more than any “new idea”.
