ur going too fast, causing u to need to shift ur weight back or go over the bars, which causes u to not be balanced during the rotation of the bike. You need to put more weight towards the front and find the balancing point, or sweet spot. This is a difficult skill to learn. Once ur good with the balance point, u shift weight forward while the bike is going forward, and backwards on its way back around. This is how you learn to do this trick consistently, and not by luck. You actually develop control of the bike by shifting ur weight forward and backward from the center of balance. Without learning that skill you will only land this once in a while, which is somewhat useless.

You should wear a helmet, and work on finding ur balance point in a normal nose-stoppie, get used to the feeling of being just about to go over the bars, then work on kicking it out and controlling its rotation with your weight. Finding this balance point can cause you to fall and not be able to bail out properly so a helmet would be a good investment.

    2. idk but don’t take your leg over the toptube while still running

you need to kick the whip first and then footjam while it completes the whip

like, you do a really small/short manual, more like a initiation, to let you kick your backend while you lift your front foot and then you put that foot onto your front wheel to footjam and let the bike complete the whip and hop over the pedals again

Practicing only small hops to footjam can help you gain more bike control before you try to learn a proper footjam whip.

here you have 2 tutorials if you don’t understand what i wrote.

Because it takes time and effort to land a trick, took me a couple hours straight of trying it to land for the first time.

Now it’s one of my favorite tricks, keep at it.
