    1. From the frequency of occurance it could be the chain. A stiff link i guess. Turn the chain slowly and observe at the lower derailleur pully wheel.

To loosen the stiff link you can try to bend the chain a bit in one and than in the other direction. Often the chain links align and the stiffness is gone.

    3. Looks like the chain is catching something. Have you tried replacing it? It’s not that expensive and would eliminate my main suspect.

    4. Did you disassemble the rear derailleur? This happened to me when I installed the pulley gear the wrong way around. There are probably arrows on the side of the pulley indicating the direction it’s supposed to turn

    5. I also think the chain is catching. Maybe some stiff hinges. Maybe it has some variation in width: masterlink comes from a wider chain. Maybe some pins sticks out.

A couple of your links have probably seized. Try going through link by link and make sure they all move freely. Some wd40 and wiggling should make it move again, just make sure to degrease it and apply chain oil after.

Stiff link. Often happens on chains that are presses together. As stated below pivot all the links to ID the stiff link and bend the chain sideways a little bit to loosen it.
