Today I found out some spacers in my acros headset on my canyon torque al 5 were in pieces. (Picture 2) I’ve removed them hoping they weren’t super important. Now there is a gap between the bearings and the cover (picture 1) there also is a huge amount of play I can’t get rid of. Does anyone know how I can fix this, and what parts are broken?

Looks like the rubber seal on top,you could try loosen up the stem bolts and tighten the top cap bolt a bit to press on the bearings.
