j8by7 on September 21, 2024 11:23 pm Make sure your headset bearings are in correct. I had mine in wrong and this is what happened on my bike.

Turn bike over. Loosen stem bolts. Tighten headset cap bolt. Tighten stem bolts. Repeat as necessary to remove play from headset.

Use a torque wrench!
Make sure your headset bearings are in correct. I had mine in wrong and this is what happened on my bike.
