Bluemels are affordable and very well build. They are made in Germany and have 5 years guarantee. Installing is easy but time consuming.

But on back they run little low and on front they run little high on my frame. Propably no one else will notice.

But did you have perfect match?

  1. You just gotta get a diving board from a front rack or something similar to drop the front fender down more. Back looks good

  2. I had two sets of bluemels in about 40-45mm width (for ~35mm tires). It took a bit of time, but you can get them pretty close if you want. Sometimes you need to fiddle with spacers or improvise to get the right distance from the frame mounting points above the fork and right behind the BB. It’s easier than setting up old cantis, even if you have to go around a front disc brake.
