This was stage 1/5 of the Swiss Epic mountain bike race in the stunning canton of Graubünden. The stage featured some of the most scenic single tracks I have ever seen. The highlight was the lengthy Corviglia flow trail, where we rode countless outstanding berms in a picturesque postcard. It took us 5:36:54 to complete the 62km and 2350m of climbing. Saving energy for the next four days was a priority, but we couldn’t help it sometimes when the trails were so inviting.

    1. Just amazing content! Thanks so much for putting in the effort of recording and uploading it. What category were you in? Who would you say the event is tailored for from a fitness/technical standpoint?

    2. I have spent far too much time watching your videos now… But I love them so :') I'm waiting for the snow and ice to go away here so I can get out there myself.

    3. Hi Ben.
Swiss Epic, one of the best races in the world if you like trails and dreamlike landscapes. And more technical than in previous years… Within the reach of few bikers. Congratulations Ben and Peter!
Great video montage. Thanks for sharing.

    4. Great vid. I'm guessing the camera was handlebar mounted? I'm doing the 2022 Swiss Epic and would love to just do it from a chest mount but I Know the rules forbid it. Did you see anyone doing body mounted cameras?

    5. Having all the data on the screen is great. GoPros don’t give much of a sense of the angles you’re riding on, so to see the elevation makes it that much more real.
      Excellent video, thank you!

    6. Very nice race and top looking landscapes. Question, is the heart rate reading correct? I mean, for example @57.00 going up an 18% incline…. and just 155 bpm? Looks too low to me but I may be wrong . . .

    7. I guess putting a go pro on the back of a Fiat Abarth cannot compare to this… Or on its sun roof… Amazing Captive Cruising… at the easy convenience of sitting on my couch. Seriously though how in the heck are you not scared cruising 16 KPH that trail. Or battling a 16 percent grade at 8 kph…. what the H man. Forgot about the mileage your going… it was hilarious to hear you say 1 / 10 the way… My hat is off to you.

    8. Thank you for this ride. I am recovering from bad motorbike accident and I am training with stationary bike in home. Watching your guys awesome ride with my iPad. You have very long ride, so I do it in 10-15km sections. Keep on riding and sharing these cool videos. Greetings from Bali, Indonesia.
