Friday = the best plane spotting from Manchester Airport, live and so close you can see if the pilots went for regular coffee or pumpkin spice! We’re focusing on arrivals today, you know we’re suckers for 05R touch downs and it looks as though the easterly winds are set to continue so we can’t say no!
I am feeling the autumn vibes at the mo which I tried to reflect in the thumbnail with its golden colours. If you aren’t in to the “ber” months I get it but hey, at least it’s still sunny and warm! (no, that wasn’t a typo!)
Anyway I’m getting distracted, we’re here for planes, loud engines and smokey touchdowns, unless you’re Ryanair of course. Erm, what have I missed? Emirates A380, Virgin Atlantic A350, new shops in Manchester Airport terminal 2, planes, no trains and Carlos the crow!
Now if you got this far this is the most important question: do I buy myself a pumpkin shaped mug? For balance and staying on topic, I have a mug in the shape of a Dreamliner engine and is holds some bottle brushes and sponges so I don’t need another plane based mug right now!

We want to catch the best movements at Manchester. Our heavy arrivals such as the Emirates A380, Qatar 777, Etihad 787. Singapore A350, Virgin Atlantic A330, TUI 787, Aer Lingus A330 etc arrive from around 6am so we always try and catch the best movements for you to enjoy!
