[Extra]Ordinary is a film that weaves together the stories of seven athletes from different sporting disciplines as they prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympic & Paralympic Games.
Filmed across the United Kingdom, from the mighty Jurassic South Coast with GB Sailing’s Saskia Tidey to the land of Larne in Northern Ireland with Boccia UK’s Claire Taggart, the documentary captures the athletes’ journeys.
The film also delves into the challenges they’ve faced, such as British Cycling’s Archie Atkinson, who endured severe bullying during his youth, and Gregg Stevenson, a double amputee after stepping on an IED while serving in the army in Helmand Province.
The seven athletes are rounded out by GB Boxing’s Chantelle Reid, British Cycling’s Kieran Reilly, and GB Climbing’s Toby Roberts.
