Hi I got these parts used since my old set was rusted out. After installing I found that this pair of 105 5500 doesn’t reach the rim of my wheel set. The old pair I had on this was maybe a set of promax rc-462s. Also, these pads are adjusted to the bottom of the calipers. Are there any alternatives? Is there a way to extend them somehow?
Thanks

The bolt on the side that holds the pad in is adjustable. But judging by this photo, you have incorrect calipers for your setup, as they are extended as far as possible on the caliper arms.
You have two options:
Different calipers, or larger rims (if you have the clearance).
My suggestion would be to find some calipers that fit, as that will be more affordable.
Are the front and back both short? Double check the wheel is completely seated in place.
You can get extenders/offset brake pads like these: https://bdopcycling.com/product-category/brakes-and-pads/bdop-offset-holders/
