Ed is an elite cyclist, 2019 British Hill Climb Champion and former Under 23 British RR Champion. He has raced as a Continental level Professional Rider in Japan, Korea, Australia, Canada, Azerbaijan to name a few. He is also a public speaker, coach, and remains grounded with regular returns to his roots at Bynea Cycling Club. At the start of 2021, the Discord community began, and plonked many of Ed’s viewers in to a 350+ strong group of people that had many things in common. Not least wanting to explore the world and pedal their bikes faster!

Ed coaches lots of cyclists in the online community too! If you are interested, email laverackcoaching@yahoo.com for information on the 1-2-1 coaching package and training plans, of which there are many!

Ed now prioritises having fun with my hard earned fitness and knowledge in the sport. Showcasing that maybe there is an alternative to racing for teams when you can race for yourself and your community of followers and brands. This YouTube channel is a docu-series highlighting what it’s like to be a cyclist in today’s competitive age of sport.

    1. I'm in guardamar (south of alicante) and the weather is awful down here aswell, the locals say its the worst in years so not just girona, it's really unusual this time of year πŸ‘

    2. Really enjoyed this whole Girona series mate, was brilliant to see a new place and the whole culture around there looked immense. On the list to visit thanks to these videos! Glad you had a good time despite the rain

    3. I agree with George Currier , I live inland from Alicante and its been the worst winter I've known in 12 years of living out here. You were just unlucky with the weather Ed . Glad to see it didn't put you off , come back out again when the sun's out , it's a stunning country to cycle in .

    4. Completely unrelated to this video but is it me, or is the posture of female riders in general really different from male riders? Every time I see female cyclists it seems to me that they ride with a hollow lower back, whilst most male cyclist ride with an arched back.

    5. You guys (& gals) always look so eeeasy on your bikes whether you’re climbing or descending πŸ‘Œ Love it that you get a kick out of seeing World Tour riders out & about – whereas some of us would be blown away seeing YOU about & about! πŸ€©πŸ˜‚

    6. Roll on the next one Ed – we were unlucky with the weather for sure but still made the best of it! Bit upset my risotto and french toast never made the cut mind ha

    7. Glad you enjoyed Ed. Girona is on my list to visit – even just for a long weekend. Only problem with going back to places is that there are so many other places to explore aswell.

That said i still really want to go back to Bourg D'Osains – more to do there for me…….lol.

    8. Any tips on places to stay in Girona? Do you think it's hard to get an apartment? I'm thinking of moving for 2 months this year! Love your videos, Cheers!
