I want to listen while cycling in the city but I can't. Sometimes I feel nervous when I wear earphones. If there were breaks I couldn't mind. What is your feelings?
Yeah I love riding and listening to music! I mostly use conduction headphones so I can still hear what’s going on around me

Ja; only right ear. Wired earphones so I can yank it out if I need some extra awareness

Not as much as I used to. I actually haven’t done it in a long while. Even tho I do always ride outside with my speaker.

I have to tune down my music when I get near a busy street cause when I have em loud my mind plays tricks and has me seeing things are not there lol 😂.

Is the person in the picture listening to music? Why did you create a throwaway to post this?

I love hearing the sounds of the City and there is a lot of E-Bullshit here, so no.

Almost everyday. Only trying to avoid when it’s raining and need to cover my head with hood so can’t see much when I’m turning around so at least can hear what’s going on behind me

No. I dont often take more than a track. Just corner store and back.
To work, I like hearing all that fuss. Again, it’s quick. Shorter than an intermission.
I have a speaker when I ride the trails. Others can hear me coming from behind.

Yes. I use a tiny JBL speaker. Obviously not blasting it full volume, so I still hear the city well.

No, I listen to the traffic. I’d rather be healthy than entertained.

If I would, I’d only listen on speakers, like not blasting so the whole city can hear it, but I don’t feel safe with my ears plugged in, and I’m waaayyyy to broke to buy one of those bone thingies lol

I’d like to, but that’s very unsafe

I wear this open ear clip on head phones. Not quite bone conducting but the speaker sits on the outside. They are cheap and do the trick.

Bose Ultra Open Earbuds 👌
Better sound quality than bone conduction and no over-ear loop which is great as it annoys me when wearing sunnies.

Yup can’t ride without music but hell no with earbuds I had some bad ending because of that so now I’m just mounting my speaker to my handlebars loud enough for me to hear both of my music and the city because the two combined is a blast

I have a JBL clip on my backpack strap, so pretty close to my ear. Don’t need to turn it up too high for me to hear and not loud enough to bother other people, and I can still hear all traffic. Works great for me, I don’t need the sound quality of in ear headphones while I’m riding but appreciate having some music in the background.
