    1. Either the drive-side isn’t all the way in or you’ve got a 68mm bottom bracket in a 73mm shell.

    2. Replacing the bottom bracket on an old Trek, took the old BB to the LBS and this what they gave me. The drive side threaded in fine, but the cup(is that what you call it?) kept threading in until three or 4 threads were exposed on the non drive side before it tightened up and hit the proper torque spec. Did the LBS sell me the wrong BB or is this normal sometimes?
