Hello, first time poster. Recently got into road biking and I’m looking for an entry-level bicycle in the used market.
The first is the Trek 5000 that also looks visually well taken of and notably has had new gear cables, brake cables, new cable housing and cleaned drivetrain for $500.
The second is a Fuji SL LE 2.4 (2017) that visually looks great that I negotiated down to $575.
Both are 54 cm frames and carbon fiber.
Which one would be the better purchase?

Just based on the photos and your description I’d probably go Fuji. I recommend riding both before you make a decision. What groupset is on the Fuji?
Fuji is the smarter choice, but that trek looks so cool
