Took the train down to the SF Bay Area at Richmond, switched to BART, and started riding at Colma. Camped at Half Moon Bay, New Brighton, Monterey Veteran’s Memorial Park, Pfeiffer Big Sur, and Vet’s again, before heading over to Salinas to catch the Amtrak bus/train home. I would have liked to do the normal Big Sur trip thru to San Luis Obispo, but accepting the closure for another season. Had great weather and light traffic (week after Labor Day) – a pretty section of the coast!
