Please remove this if not allowed, but was wondering what my trusty Kona Hei Hei Supreme is worth these days? Can't find anything similar on other sites so have no clue.
I purchased second hand about 15 years ago for a princely sum even then.
Thinking of selling for a hard tail, I'd love to keep it but don't have the space and be a shame for it to sit there!
26" wheels. A fair amount of race face and hope parts added.
Any advice welcomed

I give you 50€.
for a kid who doesn’t have a bike and would love to ride one: priceless. on the open market: not much.
It’s a model t compared to bikes now days. Non tapered head tube(essentially can’t get new forks), 26” wheels, long stem, usually suspension needs service if it’s been 15 years if ever serviced at all (which could be a 300-400 dollar service front and rear). Honestly I’d donate it to neighborhood kid or sell for 40 maybe 50 bucks. Like you said it takes up a lot of space. I love Kona’s but this thing is a dinosaur and you’d be better off modern hardtail if you’re not riding really rough trail.

In monetary value, not very much, but it’s high in nostalgic value. I loved Kona back in those days and i would have really wanted that if i’d rolled onto a start line next to you! Looks pretty good spec too 👍
Nostalgia, backup/loaner bike, or to give to someone who needs it.

nice parts for a commuter
50 $
Ohhh man I used to read the kona catalog every day growing up, I’d get so excited when the new issue would come out.
just drooling over the Stinky Supreme and stuff, I did eventually get the Cowan for christmas, rode the fuck outta that thing for years until my brother got it stolen
it was the incredible electric blue color, probably one of the sickest bikes ever
its only worth is “donation”.
I think you’re getting some bad responses. I would think you could get a couple to possibly several hundred bucks for it. That Thompson stem is worth some money alone. Seat looks aftermarket too. Possibly the wheelset. This was a kickass bike in it’s time.
The sum of the parts may be more than the whole for people looking for bits they need to complete restoration projects
My first mtb was a hard tail Kona with similar paint scheme so imo priceless
Last month I was talking to a guy who had a really nice old Turner (made in the US, 29 wheels, rim brakes, chris king and thomson components, etc), and he said he got it for free from a friend. That’s pretty much the price point for old bikes
5 or 6
Not a lot. I have. Kikapu that I bought second hand for £1400 too many years ago. Now valued at £200 in mint condition, but in sentimental value and the fact that I can bunny hop it way better than my Spectral:ON, it’s priceless.
Well if you’re in my local market, $500.
$20
New bikes are dropping like stones. Nobody is buying. Used is even worse
Tree fiddy
Some nice parts on the bike for its day, but considering the market these days, not much. If you’re in the US, maybe $200?? This would be a great bike for someone starting out and/or on a tight budget.
My brother sold his Titus Motolite a year ago for about this much and that bike was about $4500 new in 2007. He started at $900 and it took months of lowering the price before there were any takers. The bikepocalypse makes the used market tough for sellers.
Looks like a sweet ebike conversion platform. I converted a similar wintage Kona Coiler a couple years ago and it’s still going strong as my street ride with 6000km on it.
I’d give it a good cleaning and give it away.
Bout tree fiddy.
A bike that holds air, pedals, and has working brakes is worth up to $250 as a town bike.
It’s worth $0 as a mountain bike.
It’s priceless to a kid who can’t afford a bike or an adult who needs transportation.
Many cities have bike coalitions that fix up these old bikes and get them in the hands of people who will benefit from them.
Not much. 600-700?
LBS sells these for $150
Oh man I know a few people who would call this a holy grail! No joke
It’s just cool now, I love Kona, but I wouldn’t really give you enough for you to want to sell it
If you get $75 for it, the buyer will have overpaid by ~$25
The memories it created
Would have gone for good money back in 2021. I don’t remember how much I sold my 26” wheeled Giant Anthem Advanced for, but I remember being quite happy with the price. I knew if I did not sell it then, I’d never get anything much for it.
