Whilst over in Iceland, Si was lucky enough to take a look around the Lauf HQ and to meet the team behind the innovative fork design. He also got to ride some of their kit over the Icelandic gravel and it’s fair to say he was impressed!

    1. CX riders: OMG, the most amazing progressive suspension and road bike technology
Every other cyclist: When 100year old suspension technology meets 30 year old MTB geometry…

    2. A lot of close minded people here lmao, back then gravel bikes are being laughed at like this also. You never know what new tech is going to improve the discipline. I'm interested in putting suspension in!

    3. Hi gcn, what size bike did Si try out and how tall is he, I’m trying to decide what size to go for, I’m 511 so I’m between med/large. Can you check with Si and let me know your thoughts. .cheers Carl

    4. At that point, i'd just get an XC mountain bike with gravel tires. You can setup a Scott Spark full suspension bike that weighs less than 10KG. If you don't wanna spend too much, then the XC build will be 10-point-something KG. Want aero? Add aero bars to the XC mtb.

    5. Different, expensive. Really expensive. 1,000 bucks for a fork that will do what a 300 dollar fork will and nothing else so I guess for status it’s important

    6. At the very first I thought this is a German brand …LOL… because ‚Lauf‘ means ‚run‘ in German. But the bike has something to it I admit.
Would be interesting how those springs get weaker over time of use…

    7. Very interesting video. Hiw does this fork feel on a steep climb? Does it bounce & potentially rob the rider of energy? Lots of authenticity in these guys, though! ❤
