FIRST BIKE PACKING TOUR | Cycling Europe Austria – Slovakia – Hungary

This first bike packing tour was for me an adventure, but also a way to test all the gear that I will take for my big bike packing adventure across Europe. It gave me the chance to experience biking with all the extra weight and get a feeling of how it is to be on the road, biking everyday long distances.The first day I was accompanied by my best friend, from Vienna to Bratislava, while for the last 2 days, I would be alone.
I cycled 300km across 3 different countries, got sunburnt, arrived almost soaked wet in Hungary and crossed a more than my bike can handle gravel route.
It was tons of fun and learned some important lessons for my big adventure.
