Decided to go on an adventure after work. I set up camp and there was only one other person on the field, a kind woman on her own also bikepacking with a trailer. It was about 9pm when I had finished putting my tent together and it became dark almost instantly. I couldn't find any places to eat food that weren't closed so in my desperation I thought I would cycle 20km to the next restaurant. Eventually after a few minutes of cycling in complete darkness (equipped with lights thankfully) I found a place to eat, which was supposed to be closed already but they still served me being the only person there, and I have never felt that grateful for a meal. Then I slept the night in my tent. Eventually I went to a grocery store for some breakfast and met a friend who was very interested in my adventure. We hung out for a while before I went home.
For my next adventure I will definitely look into upgrading my sleep setup. I'm looking at the NatureHike Cloud Up 2 as my new tent. I'm wondering however, what sleeping bags do you guys prefer? I'm looking for a good option in weather around 10c or 50f. Also if you have any suggestions on sleeping pads that are good for side sleeping let me know in the comments please.

How do you like those handlebars? They look really similar to the Jones H Bar and Surly Moloko and I can’t wait to try one of them. They look awesome.
