I have ERGON GE1 EVO grips. I like them very much but they could be bit more egronomic. Those kind you have are too much dad bike for my taste. But would like to test how comfortable they are.

Personally had always problems with these “ergonomic” grips. From handpain to plain uncomftble, they’re not for me.Â

The new GS1 are soooo much better than these GP1….. The clamp is on the inside so that you don’t rest your palm on the metal.
Up to 20 degrees backsweep I like ‘em, but with extra horns (is that named correct?) on the side

Highly prefer ergonomic grips and due to the great availability of colors available for them I still always get round ones.

I have the Specialized Contour XC grips for few years and I like the shape. In this kind of grips is important to find the correct angle of the flat part.

My wrist pain is having me considering grips like this. We’ve had too much rain for me to ride lately, and shockingly my pain is going away…

I find these less comfortable than a decent pair of standard round grips. But to each their own

Much prefer ergonomic grips over round. Ergon GP1 is my favourite.

They look goofy imo but are worth it. Love em.

On flat bars I like ergon or sqlab 711 trail with 410 innerbarends that can slide over trail clamp. For ergo handlebars such as jones h bar I prefer esi extra chunky grips, the longer the better.

I’m using GA3s whenever possible and love them. They come in spectrum of colors as well.

I tun them and love them.

I just could not get them to work for me. Vans Waffle Grips were the option I ended up going with.

Tried them once, almost fell… :s

Using specialized variants on my 92 Sorrento flat bar while the do work I still feel pain. Might have to raise the stem a bit more.

Round ones for me, usually Odi Ruffians or similars is what i use.

For performance, I like traditional round. For endurance and comfort, I like the ergonomic grips.

Ergon GP3 with SQLabs innerbarends has been my favorite setup yet.

Round grips for mountain biking and casual riding. More dedicated ergonomic grips for extended day rides and touring.

My experience is that GS / GP grips don’t solve the problems created by the flat bar setup. Replacing the grips does not mean things like numbness will go away.

Love my SQlabs 711. They‘re the perfect in-between in my eyes

I broke my wrist real bad in my 20s and the ergon helps me keep it in the right ‘angle’ so that I’m less likely to flex it the wrong way.Â

I like the paddles but you have to align them to neutral wrist. If they are set up too low, with wrist flexed, I think it causes problems.Â
A suspension stem (redshift) also does a lot.Â

Prefer the regular ones but on the fattier side

Ergon makes good grips in general, I have their ergo ones and their “normal” MTB grips, I slightly prefer the ergonomic style but I like bothÂ
