    1. 2023 Neuron AL6. Riding the other day, over-corrected around a corner and laid it down against an uphill slope to the left of the trail. All the force was against the grip, which stopped the bike, and the handlebar sheared off right below the grip. I was only going about 4 mph at the time, so it seems weird this could happen so easily. I’ve never broken a handlebar before. Maybe it was compromised during a previous spill that I failed to notice?

      I don’t mind buying a new bar, but wondering about Canyon’s Crash Replacement program. Their site is cryptic about what they cover beyond the actual frame. Does it cover Canyon-manufactured parts like the Iridium bar? The drop post lever and brake lever are fine, so it could be worse.
